About Course

WRITE AND PUBLISH YOUR FIRST BOOK IN ONE WEEK OR LESS! is a writing program using the Write Your First Book writing templates that the author has created help aspiring authors speed up writing their first book so that they can get it published in the quickest way possible. It is a shortcut but you will still feel the sense of achievement as you will participate in the writing process.

You will undergo the creative process of writing and crafting the rhymes: thinking through the plots and themes of each rhyme and using literary devices such as onomatopoeia, alliteration, similes and rhyming words. So, this writing program, which comprises an e-workbook and a video instructional program, is for anyone who has a strong interest in writing and authoring their first book but have found the challenge too difficult to surmount.

The Write Your First Book writing program is based on the author’s self-published book, 61 Mostly Nonsense Rhymes for Malaysian Students (ISBN 9789834487621), which is an English as a Second Language (ESL) book – a resource book for teaching young learners (K-6) English.

Similarly, in this writing program, you will author an ESL book for young learners (K-6) that you can use to teach your children, or to enhance your professional career if you are a teacher. For parents, you can even turn this into a writing project with your children! This ESL book that you will be authoring comprises over 60 nonsense rhymes that young learners will love because they are fun, hilarious and sometimes wacky.

But why write an ESL rhyme book for this writing program?

Why not write a short story or a novel?

There are plenty of such writing courses out there. However, writing a novel is a formidable task when you are writing your first book.

By writing this ESL rhyme book, using the Write Your First Book program, you will find it easier to undertake the challenge before you take on more serious pursuits like writing a book of short stories, a novel, or an academic textbook. As writing is usually a lonely occupation, which requires much discipline and perseverance, writers could easily give up when they hit several road blocks in their writing journey.

Who will be most suitable for the WRITE AND PUBLISH YOUR FIRST BOOK IN ONE WEEK OR LESS! writing program? If you want to author your first book but you don’t know how or where to start, this writing program is for you. If you are a home-school parent who enjoys writing and creating teaching materials to teach your home-schoolers, this writing program is for you.

Or, perhaps you are an undergraduate in a college Education program, and you want to write and publish a book to enhance your professional image. This Write Your First Book writing program will be a good start for budding or aspiring authors as it has been designed to speed up the writing process without compromising on the quality of the creative output.
